【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsforsafeworkingpractices(supportedbytraining)for:?ownersofpermanentlyinstalledandcommissionedescalatorsandmovingwalks;?personshavingeffectivecontrolofthepremises(dutyholder)onwhichsuchescalatorsandmovingwalksareinstalled;?personsresponsiblefor,andinvolvedin,theexamination,inspection,testing,service,maintenance,repairanddismantlingofsuchescalatorsandmovingwalks.ThisBritishStandardisapplicabletopersonsworkingonalltypesofescalatorsandmovingwalks.However,noteveryrecommendationisapplicableforalltypesofescalatorandmovingwalkthatarecoveredbyBritishStandardseitherpublishedorinpreparation.TherecommendationsinthisBritishStandardrelatetothesafetyofpersonswhengainingaccesstoandfromtheworkareasofescalatorandmovingwalks,andwhileworkingthere.Theyalsorelatetothesafetyofotherspresentinthevicinity,whethertheyareworkingornot,whocouldbeendangeredbytheactionsofthoseworkingonescalatorsandmovingwalks.ThisBritishStandarddoesnotcoverthedesign,manufacture,constructionorinstallationofescalatorsandmovingwalks.
