【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedureformeasuringtheinfiltrationrateofwaterthroughin-placesoilsusingadouble-ringinfiltrometerwithasealedinnerring.1.2Thistestmethodisusefulforsoilswithinfiltrationratesintherangeof1x107m/sto1x10-10m/s.Wheninfiltrationrates8805;1x10-7m/saretobemeasuredTestMethodD3385shallbeused.1.3AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguideforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD6026.1.3.1Themethodusedtospecifyhowdataarecollected,calculated,orrecordedinthisstandardisnotdirectlyrelatedtotheaccuracytowhichthedatacanbeappliedindesignorotheruses,orboth.Howoneappliestheresultsobtainedusingthisstandardisbeyonditsscope.1.4Thistestmethodprovidesadirectmeasurementofinfiltrationrate,nothydraulicconductivity.Althoughtheunitsofinfiltrationrateandhydraulicconductivityaresimilar,thereisadistinctdifferencebetweenthesetwoquantities.Theycannotbedirectlyrelatedunlessthehydraulicboundaryconditions,suchashydraulicgradientandtheextentoflateralflowofwaterareknownorcanbereliablyestimated.1.5Thistestmethodcanbeusedfornaturalsoildeposits,recompactedsoillayers,andamendedsoilssuchassoilbentoniteandsoillimemixtures.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
