【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtobeusedprimarilyfornon-occupationalexposuremonitoringindomiciles,publicaccessbuildingsandoffices.Chlordanehasbeenusedwidelyasageneralinsecticideforcrops(forexample,cotton)andasatermiticide.Heptachlorisamajorcomponentoftechnicalchlordaneandaninsecticideinitsownright.AlthoughtheiruseintheUnitedStateswasdiscontinuedin1988,residuesofthechemicalsmayremaininindoorairformanyyearsafterapplication.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthesamplingandanalysisofindooratmospheresforresiduesofchlordaneandheptachlor.1.2Thistestmethodisbaseduponthecollectionofchlordaneandheptachlorfromairontopolyurethanefoam(PUF)andanalysisbygaschromatographycoupledwithelectroncapturedetection.1.3Thistestmethodisapplicabletoconcentrationsofchlordanevaryingfrom0.1to100g/m3andheptachlorvaryingfrom0.01to80.0g/m3withsamplingperiodstocollectatleast0.25m3ofair.Detectionlimitswilldependupontheconditionsofthegaschromatography(GC)andthelengthofthesamplingperiod.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO11929specifiessuitablestatisticalvalueswhichallowanassessmentofthedetectioncapabilitiesinionizingradiationmeasurementswithouttheinfluenceofsampletreatment.Forthispurpose,statisticalmethodsareusedtospecifythefollowingtwostatisticalvaluescharacterizinggivenprobabilitiesoferror.—Thedecisionthreshold,whichallowsadecisiontobemadeforeachmeasurementwithagivenprobabilityoferrorastowhethertheregisteredpulsesincludeacontributionbythesample.—Thedetectionlimit,whichspecifiestheminimumsamplecontributionwhichcanbedetectedwithagivenprobabilityoferrorusingthemeasuringprocedureinquestion.ThisconsequentlyallowsadecisiontobemadeastowhetherameasuringmethoddefinedinthispartofISO11929satisfiescertainrequirementsandisconsequentlysuitableforthegivenpurposeofmeasurement.Thedifferencebetweenusingthedecisionthresholdandusingthedetectionlimitisthatmeasuredvaluesaretobecomparedwiththedecisionthresholdwhilethedetectionlimitistobecomparedwiththeguidelinevalue.
