【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedforthedeterminationofthedistillationcharacteristicsofpetroleumproductsandfractionsthatmaydecomposeifdistilledatatmosphericpressure.Thisboilingrange,obtainedatconditionsdesignedtoobtainapproximatelyonetheoreticalplatefractionation,canbeusedinengineeringcalculationstodesigndistillationequipment,toprepareappropriateblendsforindustrialpurposes,todeterminecompliancewithregulatoryrules,todeterminethesuitabilityoftheproductasfeedtoarefiningprocess,orforahostofotherpurposes.Theboilingrangeisdirectlyrelatedtoviscosity,vaporpressure,heatingvalue,averagemolecularweight,andmanyotherchemical,physical,andmechanicalproperties.Anyofthesepropertiescanbethedeterminingfactorinthesuitabilityoftheproductinitsintendedapplication.Petroleumproductspecificationsoftenincludedistillationlimitsbasedondatabythistestmethod.Manyengineeringdesigncorrelationshavebeendevelopedondatabythistestmethod.Thesecorrelativemethodsareusedextensivelyincurrentengineeringpractice.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedetermination,atreducedpressures,oftherangeofboilingpointsforpetroleumproductsthatcanbepartiallyorcompletelyvaporizedatamaximumliquidtemperatureof400C.Bothamanualmethodandanautomaticmethodarespecified.1.2Incasesofdispute,therefereetestmethodisthemanualtestmethodatamutuallyagreeduponpressure.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see,,,and.1.4Thispracticeisforconversionoftheactualdistillationtemperatureobtainedatsub-ambientpressuretoatmosphericequivalenttemperature(AET)correspondingtotheequivalentboilingpointatatmosphericpressure,101.3kPa(760mmHg),bymeansofequationsderivedbyMaxwellandBonnell.
