【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheapparentshearviscosityofcoal-tarandpetroleum-basedpitcheshavingaMettlersofteningpoint(SP)rangeofapproximately95to120?C.Thistestmethodisapplicableonlyforrotationalviscometers.Sincethistestmethodisbasedontheoreticalgrounds,strictadherencetodetailsoftheprocedureisnecessarytocomplywiththetheoreticalrequirements.Thevaluesstatedinconventionalunits(centipoise)aretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitisthepascalsecond(Pa[dot]s)andonemillipascalsecond(mPa[dot]s)=onecentipoise(cps);centipoiseisincgsunits.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection7.
